My first proper post of the New Year and quite a bit has happened. The Christmas period was nice, plenty of time to rest, relax, drink and catch up with people. The only downer was the minor element of vehicular trouble I/we had. I've had one too many of the heart wrenching moments where you turn the key in the ignition and the car just won't start. Well enough is enough and I've taken the plunge and purchased a shiny (nearly) new Audi TT. Flushed with the success of the purchase, I'm now quietly waiting for delivery.
In recent events, I went to see filming of BBC 4's The Late Edition. All went off with minimal re-takes and Marcus Brigstocke was as comedy between filming as on camera. I've seen him a few times before and he's a comedy guy. Need to make up your own mind? Take a look here.
So what have I got to look forward to this year? Well I've got at least a couple of weddings to attending. Disturbingly many of my friends seem to be getting engaged... it's all a little suspicious, I blame the water. After that, well, we've got the Olympics coming. I'm not quite sure how the east-end is going to handle the new arrivals. I'm particularly interested to see how the local hoodies handle a guy on the DLR with a javelin :).
